MARINE PARK FEES
Kinasi is located within a marine park, and a fee of USD $20 per person per day (50% for children 3 - 15 yrs) is charged by the Mafia Island Marine Park. This is not included in the rates above. Kinasi usually prepays this for you and we add the fees to your invoice.

ACCOMMODATION RATES (Terms and Conditions)

• All accommodation rates are on a full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner included) per person per night (pppn) basis, including 20% VAT
• Marine Park Fees are not included in our rates but are subject to change without notice 
• The cost of the road transfer from Mafia Airport to Kinasi (15 KM) is USD $30 return per person
• Family room (two bedrooms sharing bathroom)
• Children:
        • Triple rooms – On request (two rooms can be converted – strictly children only)
        • Children under 13 sharing room - each pay 50% of adult rate; children over 13 pay adult rate
        • Infant under 5 yrs sharing room with parents – free-of-charge
• Minimum recommended stay is 3 nights
• Group policy starts after 14 paying guests, 15th will be free of charge.
• The hotel will be seasonally closed from after Easter until 1st June each year
• Kinasi accepts VISA and MASTERCARD but a surcharge of 5% (to cover the costs and delays and commission in Tanzania, which is 5%) will be added. A surcharge of 10% also applies to travellers’ cheques (which are discounted by banks in Tanzania due to risk and the high fraud rate)
