House of Wonders is a unique and unusual Company. It was founded in 1994 by a group of friends with a love of travel and a passion for beautiful architecture. The idea was to restore historic buildings in exotic destinations and use the houses for holiday rentals. The business has now grown into a fully licenced travel Company and has become the leading specialist in holiday rental houses of historic or architectural interest in exotic locations around the world.
The Company owns and manages houses but also offers other interesting properties to those in search of something special. House of Wonders has its own representatives in several locations, in others it relies on the local house owner or their representative to receive the guests. Chairman He is supposed to be the business brain behind the Company.
Born in England, Nigel, has lived all over the world and is the only person we know who can draw a map of Africa on the back of an envelope with every border, country and capital in its right place.
Nigel is English and speaks French, German and Italian.

| Francoise Pilois-Brown
Managing Director Born and raised in France, she has been living in Bologna (on and off) for just over 15 years. Since receiving a degree in Hotel Management, Tourism and foreign languages, she has travelled and worked around the world, mostly in the travel business.
Her passion is for primates and she is the volunteer representative for Southern Europe of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Don't ask for Francoise...everybody knows her as "Pilou".
Pilou is French and speaks English and Italian.

| Samantha Segal Veyne
Travel Consultant (Californian, based in Aix en Provence). Samantha came to House of Wonders via a career in the film business. After traveling the world on film shoots she realized she loved the travel more than the filming! Born in Los Angeles, after 12 years in Paris she now makes her home in Aix en Provence with her French husband and two children.

| Charlotte J. Bloch
Travel Consultant (England, based in Aix en Provence).
Charlotte was born in the Far East, raised in Africa, Australia and the UK and was fortunate to be taken on many travel adventures throughout her childhood. Later on, she worked in the recruitment business for a number of years and started a flourishing recruitment company with her husband.
Charlotte is now happily settled in the South of France with her husband and three children, and they all continue to enjoy travelling together whenever possible.
