Zanzibar Palace Hotel

Zanzibar Palace Hotel is located right in the heart of Stone Town (an Unesco World Heritage site). It is independently owned and managed. In the nine rooms hotel Zanzibar's rich history is integrated by Arabian, Indian and English designs. The tall thin building wraps around an atrium, with just three rooms on each of its three floors. All the furniture is of very high quality and carefully selected to give the hotel a wonderfully traditional and antique feel. Each room has its own unique style with many local originating antique pieces of furniture, magical beds, Persian rugs, colourful silks, etc. The hotel is fully air-conditioned; other facilities for all rooms are room service, high-pressure (hot) water, Cable network TV, DVD player, safe box, mosquito nets, book and DVD library and many others. In the morning you can enjoy an impressive continental spread breakfast (included in the room rates), with a variety of cheeses and cold cuts, as well as lots of home-baked bread and cakes and not to forget real coffee. Further the traditional fruit, juices, cereals, pancakes and bacon & eggs choice. In the Arabian lounge we serve local and continental (alcoholic) drinks and cocktails. We serve lunch menu (between 11:00 and 17:00) and (on reservation) in the evening a gastronomic dinner in our restaurant.

Each suite is 48 m2: with double bed, build in cabinet, book case, sitting area, open bathroom with huge bath and big private balcony. In the Sultan's bath, which is big enough for two, you can enjoy a chilled bottle of wine or just soak away while you watch one of the latest movies from the DVD library.

Kijani :
Means “green” in swahili. Total of 48 m2, divided in three parts; the entrance is a large lounge, secondly a separate superb bathroom with huge bath, washing basin and large dressing area with open cabinet, and thirdly but not last a separate bedroom with a double and a single bed, sitting area and TV corner.

Sherali:
This spacious suite is elegantly decorated in Victorian style. Large wooden sliding panels (with glass), surround the room and give a view of the ocean and picturesque Stone Town. Cooled by the sea breeze on the day and cooled by airconditioning during the nights. The large suite with antique Zanzibar furniture has a double bed, cushion lounge and divan. The romantic bathtub in the suite
forces you to relax. Further a semi-open bathroom with shower.
