Les plus belles plongées se font au nord de Zanzibar, dans les eaux de Ras Nungwi. L'hôtel a son propre centre de plongée destiné aussi bien aux débutants qu'aux plongeurs certifiés. C'est un centre PADI avec matériel de haute qualité, cours théoriques et pratiques, chargement des bouteilles etc Les débutants pourront goûter à la plongée avec le Discover Scuba Diving en toute sécurité et poursuivre par le PADI Open Water en pleine mer. Dans les eaux de Nungwi vous pourrez admirer dauphins, mantes, tortues marines et aussi rencontrer quelques requins. Le mois de janvier est idéal pour observer le requin baleine. A quelques dizaines de minutes de bateau de Nungwi, vous pourrez plonger dans les eaux du Big Wall de l'atoll de Mnemba, jusqu'à 35 mètres de profondeur ou au Leven Banks à environ 15 km de la ôte. La profondeur le long de la barrière varie de 12 à 40 mètres et la température moyenne de l'eau est de 27 degrés avec une très bonne visibilité. |
